i was playing Gran Turismo 2 last night, on lap 43 of 60 on one of the endurance circuts, when i looked up at the little "time elapsed" clock in the upper left corner of the screen. it was at this point that i decided that i have no life. an hour and 27 minutes. and i was only slightly over two-thirds finished. an hour and a half. "Super-Bon-Bon" playing in a loop for an hour and a half. squealing around turns for an hour and a half. constantly cursing that damn monte-carlo yellow mitsubishi 3000GT for passing me every single time i pulled into the pit, only to have me pass him again 2 turns later. honestly, i don't know how he kept up with me. in any case, in the realization that i had no life, i made two decisions. 1) i ~will~ become friends with tom_swan and kittyhawk. because they seem like pretty cool people to be friends with. they have a comic, i have a comic, you know, that sort of thing. "do you like orange soda? we can be best friends!" ah well. oh! and 2) i will finish the second installment of "SuperHeroes in Training". tomorrow. well, here it is, tomorrow, and lo-and-behold! i am the master of my own world! i am the ruler of all that is cheez! i am the squirrel-bringer and the pencil-smasher! i am a loser. but seriously, read my comic. =)
